A copy of The White Lilac was kindly sent to me by Christina J. Adams in exchange for an honest review.
The White Lilac is a solid, well written dystopian novel from Christina J. Adams and I really loved the concept behind it. Caryn has been training all her life to be the White Lilac, the person who will retrieve the cure to the toxic air on Beta Earth, and she has no desire to do anything else after her friend Heather drowned, until she is given the opportunity to see the planet for three days before she essentially goes to her death to get the cure. The plot is well thought out and fast paced, the characters are well rounded, with a romance that doesn’t overwhelm the rest of the plot, and I enjoyed reading it.
