I might come back to this if I’m feeling in a Romeo & Juliet mood, but I can’t hack it right now. Everyone in R&J was so moronic and this retelling isn’t making me feel any differently about them, even from a different perspective. It’s also really weird reading some lines straight from the original when you’ve studied and taught it a lot, and the writing isn’t working for me in general.

The Dead House by Dawn Kurtagich
So weird, but so interesting and well written. It really leaves you wondering what actually happened. Fascinating.

The Wicked Will Rise (Dorothy Must Die, #2) by Danielle Paige
