The Raven Boys (The Raven Cycle, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater
DNFing this for now @ 260 pages – I’m just not interested in what happens. I may revisit it at some point but for now I’m leaving it. It’s a shame because the beginning was really interesting and I loved Blue and her family. The Raven Boys themselves, however, were largely a bunch of privileged idiots with more money than sense.

The Isle of the Lost (Descendants, #1) by Melissa de la Cruz
So much fun! It was nice to have a background to the characters I’ve grown to love through obsessive watching of Descendants. I didn’t enjoy the book quite as much as the film (which continues the story), but I think that was largely due to the lack of musical numbers. You just can’t beat a Kenny Ortega singalong.
