Narwhal: Unicorn of the Sea by Ben Clanton

Received from NetGalley for review.

This book is so freaking cute. The illustrations are adorable, as is the friendship that develops between Narwhal and Jelly.

The book is set out like a graphic novel and has three little stories in it which, as the NetGalley descriptions says, are wonderfully silly – the stories are all about having fun, working together, using your imagination, and enjoying friendship. I like that it also provides some information about Narwhals and Jellyfish, as well as being filled with child-like innocence and joy.

Children and adults alike will love this book, and I can imagine children rolling about with laughter reading Narwhal’s antics. I know I was filled with happiness whilst reading it; you just can’t read it without a smile on your face. This book should definitely have a place in primary/elementary schools and households in the future. A true delight.
